Clouds are invisible,white,rains,windy,sunny, and watery.

When warm air rises, it expands and cools. Cool air can't hold as much water vapor as warm air, so some of the vapor condenses onto tiny pieces of dust that are floating in the air.A cloud is a large group of tiny water droplets that we can see in the air.Clouds are formed when water on Earth evaporates into the sky and condenses high up in the cooler air.Rain, snow, sleet and hail falling from clouds is called precipitation.

Conclusion:

Sometimes clouds are annoying when they make it rain.

Water Cycle

Condensation:Condensation is the process by which water vapor in the air is changed into liquid water. Condensation is crucial to the water cycle because it is responsible for the formation of clouds.

Precipitation:Precipitation is water released from clouds in the form of rain, freezing rain, sleet, snow, or hail. It is the primary connection in the water cycle that provides for the delivery of atmospheric water to the Earth. Most precipitation falls as rain.

Collection: This is when water that falls from the clouds as rain, snow, hail or sleet, collects in the oceans, rivers, lakes, streams. Most will infiltrate (soak into) the ground and will collect as underground water. The water cycle is powered by the sun's energy and by gravity.

Evaporation is the process by which water changes from a liquid to a gas or vapor. Evaporation is the primary pathway that water moves from the liquid state back into the water cycle as atmospheric water

Adding Capital letters

Adding Capital letters

Read the story and add capital letters where they are needed.

The Mojave desert

Imagine a place where ground is scorching hot by day cold at night. The mojave desert is like that. It is one of the hottest and driest place on Earth. There is very little water and almost no trees for shade. The mojave desert covers a large area in the United States of America. It include parts of California , Nevada , Arizona and Utah. It is so dry in this desert that the town of bagdad once had no rain for almost 2 years! Death valley in the desert has America’s highest temperatures.

Revising punctuation.

Correct the punctuation in this story. Look for missing capital letter , full stops , question mark , commas , and apostrophes.

Michael was digging in the garden , when he uncovered a strange thing. It was the shape of a hen’s egg much larger , with a groove down the middle. Cradling it in his hands, he went inside to show his sister Hannah.

“Look what i found” said Michael.

“Probably a fossil” said Hannah without looking up from her book. Doubt it’s not made of rock.

“I’m busy reading go and show Mr Moore”

So Michael took the egg to their neighbour , and knocked on the door. The opened by a toothless old man with a bent back and two walking stick.

“Excuse me” said Michael but can you tell me what this is?”

“What’s that you say? “speak up a bit loudly” said Mr Moore.

“What is this?” shouted Michael. Looking confused and annoyed.

The old man started to touch the egg and said “it’s a seed”.

Full stops

Here is a short story with all the full stops taken out. Read through the story decide where to place the full stops. Remember that each sentence must be complete and make sense.

Rewrite the story with full stops, and capital letters at the start of a new sentence.

Once there was a sentence that decided to run away from a book. The new sentence ran down the page as fast it could go on It went using the same words over and over again. Nothing could stop the runaway sentence because the writer had forgotten to put in any full stops. Luckily the student who had been reading the book knew what to do. He pointed his pencil at the runaway sentence and fired full stops at it. Suddenly the sentence fell onto the page in eight pieces. It had turned into a short story.

Using speech marks.
In this text the speech marks have been left out. Put the speech marks around the words spoken.

“I bet you can’t guess what the weather would be like tomorrow” said Memory to the class.

“Is tomorrow going  be a fine day?” asked Kane.
“Everyone in the class tried to guess who was making so much noise , but nobody was trying to say who” said Sita

“I know what it is” said Angel. “It’s the rest of the class that can’t stop talking!”

Question of what vegetables and meat do you prefer?

4. Another option is to create a tally sheet.
5. A tally sheet is a sheet for checking.
What is a tally chart?A sheet for checking.
Question for survey

What kind of vegetables would you like in the hangi?
What types of meat pieces do they like?
What kind of meat that they eat?
What kind do you prefer the cooked food in plastic containers.

Why is it important that the way in which we collect the data is consistent?
